Answers to common questions about NAPCO and our research products. Have something else in mind? Contact us.
What is NAPCO?
NAPCO (North American Peptide Company) supplies research-grade peptides for laboratory and in-vitro research use. All products are sold strictly for qualified research purposes.
What are research peptides?
Research peptides are synthetic chains of amino acids produced in a laboratory setting. They are used exclusively for in-vitro scientific research — meaning testing conducted outside of a living organism, typically in cell cultures or controlled lab environments. All products sold by NAPCO are intended solely for this purpose.
Are NAPCO products intended for human or veterinary use?
No. All products are sold strictly for laboratory and in-vitro research use by qualified professionals. They are not drugs, dietary supplements, cosmetics, or food, and are not intended for human or veterinary use. See our full Research Use Only Disclaimer for details.
Why am I asked to confirm I’m 21 or older?
This is a standard access and compliance step for sites selling research-use-only compounds. Confirming you’re at least 21 helps ensure our products are only accessed by qualified researchers, and does not imply any product is intended for human consumption or use.
Who can purchase from NAPCO?
Our products are intended for qualified researchers and research institutions. By purchasing, you confirm that you are acquiring products for legitimate research purposes and accept full responsibility for legal and compliant use.
Do you offer quantity-based pricing for larger orders?
Yes. Because research needs vary by scale, NAPCO offers three quantity tiers on eligible products: Individual research quantity (1-4 vials) at standard per-vial pricing, Lab quantity (5-9 vials) at a 10% per-vial discount, and Institutional quantity (10+ vials) at a 25% per-vial discount. Pricing is applied based on the quantity of a given product in your cart. Please contact us if you have questions about a specific order or research institution account.
How long does shipping take?
Orders are typically processed within 1 business day. Most orders arrive within 3-4 business days, after they have been dropped off or picked up by the carrier. Please note that occasional carrier delays may occur during transit, which are outside of our control.
What are your shipping rates?
Flat-rate UPS Ground shipping is $10 on orders under $200. Orders of $200 or more ship free.
Do you ship internationally?
No. We ship exclusively within the contiguous United States. We do not ship to international addresses, U.S. territories, or APO/FPO addresses at this time.
How are orders packaged and shipped?
Most orders are shipped in a waterproof insulated foil thermal bubble mailer and sent via UPS Ground or USPS Priority. All peptides are packed tightly in multiple layers of protection to help ensure product safety during transit. Because our peptides ship in lyophilized (freeze-dried) form, insulated packaging isn’t required to maintain stability, but the multiple protective layers help insulate each vial from temperature fluctuations, keeping your product secure from start to finish.
How should I store lyophilized peptides?
Lyophilized peptides should be stored in a cool, dry environment away from direct sunlight, moisture, and excessive heat. For longer-term storage, freezer conditions are generally preferred for many lyophilized research materials.
Storage conditions after any laboratory reconstitution should be determined by the researcher according to their established protocols, study design, and internal laboratory procedures.
What payment methods do you accept?
We currently accept CashApp ($napcoshop) and Zelle. Choose either at checkout and the matching payment details are shown on the order confirmation page. Because NAPCO operates under our registered business entity, The American Palomino Group LLC, Zelle payments will show that name as the recipient — this is expected and correct. They are also included in the order confirmation email. When you pay, please include only your order number and your name in the payment note memo and nothing else. Mentioning anything else could delay processing.
How does the payment process work?
After completing checkout, your order is placed in “On Hold” status. You’ll receive an email with payment details for the method you selected — CashApp ($napcoshop) or Zelle (payments@napco.shop). Send the total amount shown, and in the payment note include only your order number and your name. Including anything else in that field could delay processing. Once payment is confirmed, your order is typically processed within 1 business day.
Can I cancel or change my order?
Cancellation or change requests must be submitted by emailing us before your order ships. Once a shipment has been picked up by the carrier, we are unable to cancel or modify it. Please review your order carefully before completing checkout.
What is your return/refund policy?
Because our products are perishable research compounds, all sales are final once an order ships. However, if your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact us within 3 days of delivery with your order number and photos of the issue. We will review your case and issue a replacement or refund if appropriate.
How can I track my order?
You’ll receive a shipping confirmation email with your UPS or USPS tracking number once your order is dispatched. If your tracking shows delivered but you haven’t received your package, check with others at your address and look for safe drop-off spots near your door. If you still can’t locate it, file a missing-package claim with UPS (1-800-742-5877) or USPS (1-800-275-8777). Once you have a case number, email us with your order number and the carrier’s case number and we’ll help however we can.
What purity level can I expect?
NAPCO sources from suppliers who provide product specifications for each compound, including purity data typically listed at 99% or higher. These are supplier-reported specifications rather than results from independent third-party testing. Researchers should review the documentation for their specific compound and use standard practices to confirm suitability for their research.
I have a question about a specific compound — can you advise on use?
NAPCO cannot provide guidance on use, dosing, or administration, as our products are sold strictly for research purposes. We encourage researchers to consult relevant scientific literature and their institution’s research protocols.
